Petrology

rock – sturdily strong and hard; often confused with stones; person that keeps you grounded to stop you from soaring too high up

~ hard and unforgiving, mother of all stones and pebbles

stone – sharp and jagged; of all shapes and sizes; apparently you can sink like one, too

~ those tiny pieces you bond with while you kick them home

pebble – smooth, rounded stones; dull marbles; weather-worn, beautified rocks; tiny, weak and defenceless

~ for pavement marking and seashore lining

I don’t take geography for a reason.
